Did you ever think that going to a public college has more downfalls than going to a private?According to this ''Education fact'. ''Less than one third of students who start off at public college will graduate within six years'. Instead of the four that both me and you have always been told when college is talked about.

Graduation rates are changing in the U.S.
The article entitled ''Federal government publish more complete graduation rate data'' explores the evidence of attending public and private colleges and being a full part time studies or being a transfer.     The article states the 4 year graduation rate for ''students attended public colleges and universities is 33.3% while the six year rate is 57.6% and 65.4% earn a degree in 6 years. Then even states, that at first the calculation by the U.S department of education was just part time and full time they were not including '' the graduation statistics for students who were only part time or transferred , but after receiving criticism it was changed to a more broader research basis.

I think that it wasn't fair for the other college students who were not full time but they transferred from a different state or was part time and their school have different rules. In the article by Lynn o'shaughnessy she shared evidence of how ''the urban university has a graduation rate of just 10% for its full time but its misleading since 31% of the students match that when there are transfer and part time students but included 43% receive a degree within six years.

For example in the article O'shaughnessy had some statistics research from California state University that shows six year graduation rates for full time 59.2% , 58.9 transfer , 37.7% part time and 17.7% first time part time students. This evidence shows how not doing the full research makes a dramatic change in the data results and can be misleading.
In my opinion I agree with the new statistics found by Lynn O'shaughnessy but i disagree that less than one third of students who start out a public colleges will graduate within six year, when in actuality transfer and part time students who's percentage were omitted were graduating more or even at the same rate.

How many bones do babies have? Do they have more than Adults? Authors can use two ways to present informaton. Whether its a article or a quick video. In the Article, the author states that ''the infant has around 300 bones while adults have 206 bones''( how many bones). The article also states that the infant has around 300 bones while a adult only has 206. The author goes into details about what bones are made of Penosteum, compact bone, cancellous and bone marrow and the process of bone development '' the process begins the eight week of embryonic development''(how many bones). The essay also says that babies bones fuses together and the bones decrease one by one which is the reason why the bone count of the human goes to 300 to 206. In the same article the author states that bones changes don't stop, they continue to decrease with the age, alcohol consumption. While adding research about the rise of calcium and additonal bone facts and how to k...
The  human body replaces itsself every 7- 10 years and sometimes often. There are over 75 trillion cells in the body. Organs like the intestines, skin, liver and bones all replace themselves whether its every few years or weekly. The most important cells replace themselves faster. we all may have the questioned why the body replaces itself or how the body replaces itself. The body makes new cells in different ways. one way is by a process called mitosis, when a parent cell splits into two new cells and those cells are called daughter cells which are copies of the original cell. Another way the body replaces itself is stem celling. They are usually in the lowest amount. Cells like blood cells and nerve cells can not make copies of themselves. When you are born with spaces between your hands and feet is caused due to cells dying preventing you from having webbed hands and feet like some animals. All cells eventually shrivel up and die. Skin, the epidermis goes through a lot of wear b...
Sports have been around for centuries, There have been debates to what was the first sport recorded in history. Evidence from britannica shows that wrestling dated back 15,300 years ago. Paintings and illustrations were found in caves of men in the stance from 7000 B.C in Mongolia and 6000 B.C in Libya (britannica.com/ wrestling/sports). A papyrus fragment (which was used as writing material from a plant) , was found with instructions on how to wrestle in 100-200 A.D. While some historians state that running was the first sport, It actually wasn't put in the category of sports until 776 BCE. There isn't even enough evidence to support that running was first a competitive sport. Wrestling  was first developed by the ancient Greeks as a way to train for hand to hand combat.  It was the most popular event in the ancient Greek games with winners being recorded since 708 B.C In 1896 in the modern olympic games, wrestling became the focus of the games beca...
